I want to report a bug or maybe that’s just the intended behavior.
When using the player on iOS, it doesn’t go full screen. You can still see the notification, the safari bottom menu and you can still scroll the page.
I know other users reported this in the past and I followed your solutions but it still doesn’t work.

I am using the stock FV Player plugin, no CSS rules, no settings changed.
First I tried checking the option “Alternative iPhone fullscreen mode” as suggested but that didn’t do anything.
Then I updated to the latest version, FV Player 7.5.30.7212, which mentions some CSS fixed for this exact issue, but it still doesn’t change anything.Please check and let me know what I can do to make it work.
As far as I know iOS uses its own player for full screen videos for most other players. Any reason for which you don’t allow that? Or is there a way to enable that but only for iOS?
That seems like a better, simple solution.Thank you

if you prefer the native iOS fullscreen just use wp-admin -> FV Player -> Settings -> Mobile Settings -> Use native fullscreen on mobile.
The downside is that any overlay ads, subtitles or custom controls (video speed, AB loop) won’t appear.
iOS unfortunately does not have a real HTML5 fullscreen mode, so we can only use CSS to show the player covering the whole browser window – that’s why some iOS controls remain visible.

MartinI thought your latest version was supposed to fix the fullscreen issue? yet in the demo I provided you can see it doesn’t work.
You didn’t mention anything about that. So does that mean it will remain broken? Notification bar and Safari controls showing?
Regarding the “Use native fullscreen on mobile” option, I would love to use it, but does that affect android devices too?

the fix in FV Player 7.5.30.7210 is for the case when the website CSS was preventing the fullscreen CSS code from working properly – in some cases it would not cove the whole browser viewport on iPhone.
The notification bar and Safari controls will always show on iPhone unless you enable that “Use native fullscreen on mobile” setting. You can also get rid of the Safari location bar by scrolling down a bit, FV Player shows that as a hit for the iPhone users, see attached screenshot.
Android support proper HTML5 fullscreen mode so these issues do not apply to it.
