FB link loads long

    Hi there,
    I can see an issue with loading while using FB link.

    I am using FireFox. When i watch on my web it loads in seconds while when i click and go there through FB link, it gets stuck. Please look at screenshot and midle loading string it hangs on my side. Any idea what’s the issue pls.
    When i reload the web or click on pause and replay in the left bottom corner it loads ok, but automatically it hangs.

    Hi Kris,

    I tried watching videos on your website by clicking on various posts on your Facebook page and they all played quickly and fine, without any buffering issues. I tested this on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox (on both OS X and Windows) and spotted no difference or errors.

    It seems more like an issue with bandwidth causing the videos to buffer so long before starting to play. Try to run a speed test and optimize your bandwidth to see if it improves the performance.

    Hi Chiara,
    Thanks for feedback. I checked on my Chrome and IE and it seems it works. However with FF i still have issue, and i think it’s not BW case, but more any FF settings. I have 4 movies there and only 790-2 loads ok (see your play-triangle), but all 3 other got stuck, e.g. 790-4 with my try did not load your play-triangle. For 3 used to it cannot go through step of loading your FV Player, while YT is loaded, see red rectangle, when click it plays ok in YT beyond your FVP. It would be good if you suggest any idea, of root cause. (see attached pic and look at middle of the film). (My posts are simple text and the movie, all settings are same, no customization)

    Hi Kris,

    Thanks for specifying the issue.

    Please go to the pages with problematic videos in Firefox and open your Browser Console. You can open the Browser Console either by selecting it from the Web Developer submenu in the Firefox Menu, or by a right click –> Inspect Element, then choose to view the Console tab.

    What does it say? Can you see any errors shown in the logs? Optionally, you can send us over screenshot of the console logs.

    Hi Chiara,
    You streach my brain :). Doing my best in describing :). Please find the Console, there are errors but this is chinesse for me.
    I went through FB to each of films 790-4, 3, 2, 1 and made a shot of the screen one by one.

    Unfortunately, these are very compressed and hard to read for us. Would you mind giving it another shot and sending again, please?

    Also, I forgot to put this in my last message, but when you have the Console open, please hit play on the videos we need to check, so that the errors related to video playback appear in the Console.

    Hi Martin,
    Not i am aware of. I also think it could be some settings of browser. I deleted all movies as it did not work and created a splash image and direct link as i could not relay and did not know what’s the issue.
    I’ll try to post next FB post using FV sharing and will make a check as Chiara suggested and keep you posted.
