We really hate noisy computers. Two noisy computers is too many. But when we set out to build an office, we had seven of them.
I wasn’t happy about this and we went deep into the world of silent computing, totally dismantling and replacing all the fans for an Apple G5 Dual Processor 2.5GHz model. That job didn’t work and took a lot of time.
On the other hand, our PC hacking job did rather better. We’ve got eight computers now (as of December 2007) and nothing to complain about. Absolute silence, all the computers running flawlessly.
