From our tests archive.org works really well. I am wondering how the video duration is checked o your side, since it works for a few videos that are over 20 min long and over 600MB in size, but not for some that are 1-3MB in size, and under 1 min long. Maybe there is a bug somewhere in the detection?

One case example is to use any RSS Reader so you get updates from that Youtube channel https://feeds.feedburner.com/youtube/BtqJm. This is really cool since you can keep an eye on a Youtube channel without having a google account or visiting youtube to check for that.

For our case, we have this “curated” system of news, videos, and such https://www.tromsite.com/tools/news/ + https://www.tromsite.com/tools/videos and would be fantastic to be able to grab the RSS of our FV Player and display in the newsfeed automatically.

Again, this is mostly for people who want to stay up to date with the videos we post, and since we use FV player, then if FV player had an inbuilt RSS, then anyone from any platform out there, can keep an eye on out submissions, since RSS is a very well known protocol and works with so many applications.

Hi Martin, for me and everyone else I tried with, it works very well. Archive.org is a video streaming platform on top of many of their great services that they provide for free. My connection here is 1-2MB/s, quite slow, and I can still load the videos. Ah check now please https://www.tromsite.com/videos/ – for some strange reasons wordpress automatically deactivates the FV plugin it says files were not found on the server. it is weird because it works to activate it again….

The version you sent above is Version 7.4.6.727 which is older than the current wordpress version 7.4.9.727 – maybe you sent the wrong plugin version? Cheers!

I see thanks. For the moment there is no way to embed a video from a playlist unless you embed the entire playlist. Would be fantastic to allow for such an option. We produce many videos and use your plugin to post them on our website – we are volunteers and make no money out of that. People emailed us a few times asking how they can embed the videos we post on their own websites, but since most of our videos are posted in playlists-more, they can’t embed individual videos so we have no solution for them right now. We would love to see a solution for this.
