Hi Eduard,
I haven’t seen this update yet in any of the changelogs and wanted to follow up to see if its a feature that you’re still planning on adding.
Thank you!

7 years ago in reply to: Link to specific video in playlistThanks Eduard, upon reviewing this functionality, it looks like we may need something a bit different. Ideally, we would like a parameter in the shortcode that would specify which video plays in the playlist without having to change the order of the playlist in the shortcode. Is this possible?

7 years ago in reply to: Youtube Playlist Subtitles ErrorOh! I apologize I forgot we implemented those restrictions. The issue can be also be seen on your demo page here (under youtube playlist): https://foliovision.com/player/demos/youtube-embedding
If you play Tears of Steel, the subtitle menu displays. When you play Big Buck Bunny and then go back to Tears of Steel there is no longer a subtitle menu that was there before.
So the issue is it only loads subtitles for the first video in the playlist, the first time the video is played. We are trying to display a playlist for a 10 episode show but are only able to retrieve subtitles for the first episode.
7 years ago in reply to: Youtube SubtitlesHello,
Thank you so much for your patience with this. I was able to get the subtitles to show from youtube but it only works when the subtitles are set to show in the individual video settings in youtube.
My question is when a video does have subtitles but is not defaulted to show them in youtube, is there a way to still pull them through the fv player? This page demonstrates what I’m talking about: https://www.stage13.com/video-testing/
The top video has subtitles but they are not defaulted to on in youtube. The second video has the subtitles defaulted to on. Ideally I would like the video to play without subtitles but have the menu show and give visitors the option to turn them on. Hope this makes sense, thank you so much for your help!
7 years ago in reply to: Youtube SubtitlesIs there a parameter that I need to add to the shortcode for the youtube subtitles to work? The subtitles menu appears to be hidden in the css by default. I tried toggling the subtitles settings on and off in both the shortcode and global options, but no luck. Would it be possible to include an example of the shortcode you used on the demo or let me know of any additional settings that need to be enabled? Thank you for your help with this!

I just installed the updated to the latest release. Can you give a little bit more information about how to enable this feature?
7 years ago in reply to: Youtube SubtitlesDoesn’t the second video use external vtt subtitles? I’m looking to use the subtitles from youtube and be able to toggle those on and off without using an external vtt file.
