Hi Martin,
As per your latest reply, we reinstalled FV player using https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/master.zip.
However, the lightbox did not start working just after reinstalling. But after we added a pixel value of “600” for the player height in plugin settings, the lightbox started to show up.
If we replaced the pixel value with “100%” the lightboxed video disappeared again. So it appears to only work with pixel value.Thank you very much for all your efforts on this!

We deactivated FV Player Pro, but the issue still remains. We also tried deactivating all the plugins again, except for FV Player (FV Player Pro was also deactivated), but with no luck.
Below is the System info: (redacted)
Thank you!

As per your suggestion, we have tried switching the theme to “Twenty Seventeen”, but the lightboxed video was still not showing up.
We then switched back to Avada theme and deactivated all the plugins except for FV player/FV player pro, but there was no change to lightbox behavior.
There was also an update to Avada, so we updated it to 6.0 (along with Fusion builder/Fusion core plugins that come with it), but still the lightbox refused to show up.
Is there anything else we might try?
Thank you! :)

About the issue with scripts not been found when clicking “check template”, it seems this was caused by the “Site offline mode” plugin we are using in our test installation.
I disabled the offline mode, and “check template” is able to find the scripts. I guess the offline mode plugin was interfering with the way “check template” checks the scripts availability.
However, the issue with lightboxed videos not showing in the page still remains. Also we did not revert back to 7.3.19.727. At the time there was only update for FV Player, NOT FV Player Pro. The lightbox issue came immediately after updating to FV Player 7.4.0.727. Today we noticed there is an update to FV Player Pro also, so we updated that to 7.4.0.727 too. So the versions are now:
FV Player version: 7.4.0.727
FV Player core version: 7.2.7.1
FV Player Pro version: 7.4.0.727We have a Yoast SEO plugin installed, but it is not removing the version strings from scripts. Just to test this however, we disabled the SEO plugin, but the video lightbox was still not showing.
We also tried adding the shortcode by using the “fv player” button, but the result is the same. If the “lightbox popup” option is checked, the video will not show.
We have PHP error logging turned on, but there have been no errors generated in the log file during the testing. Although we do get errors like the following from time to time:
[PHP Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /path/to/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/includes/aws/GuzzleHttp/Handler/CurlFactory.php on line 67
Today this has been tested with Brave beta (0.67.107), Firefox (68.0) and Chromium (74.0.3729.169) browsers.
In Brave’s developer tools console, with verbose messages included, i saw these messages:
fv-flowplayer.min.js?ver=7.4.0.727:9 [Violation] Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking 'touchstart' event. Consider marking event handler as 'passive' to make the page more responsive. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5745543795965952 fv-flowplayer.min.js?ver=7.4.0.727:475 [Violation] 'setInterval' handler took 89ms
Not sure if these messages are related to this in any way.
What could we try next?
Would it be helpful for you to get the “System info” from Fv player’s settings? And if so, is there a way to get this information to you privately?Thank you very much for all your efforts :)
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your reply.
We did figure this out. It was a browser restriction error. We were testing with the Brave browser and it was preventing the play of all the videos on the site.
