Why do 2 settings for FV Player appear in Wordpress Settings?

I’m using the latest version of OptimizePress 2.5.4.1 and in WordPress Settings 2 instances of the plugin appear there as you can see here:

If I deactivate the plugin then no FV WordPress Flowplayer or FV Player appears in the Settings.

I know that OptimizePress 2 uses Flowplayer as it’s default video player but is this a problem that both appear in the Settings?

I was wondering in my previous post if both instances were appearing in the Settings because OP uses Flowplayer as it’s default video player but I just logged into a totally different WP site that does NOT use OP and I’m seeing both FV WordPress Flowplayer AND FV Player appear in the Settings just like the other site that uses OptimizePress.

Is there a reason why both appear in the Settings?

Hello magentawave,

sorry about the delay, we recently changed the plugin name, so we kept both labels in Settings so that people who are used to it being in Settings -> FV WordPress Flowplayer can still find it.

We will get rid of it once we update all the documentation.

I still see 2 entries in options…
It’s not a problem, just a bit confusing in the middle of the other settings.
