Support with Visual Composer

Trying to insert a video in a post created by Visual Composer (dated version). VC wipes out the FV short code every time I make a change and save… This is actually more of a VC issue, but has anyone tried to do this? My only workaround is to add the short code and never touch the page again!

Hi Tanuki,

I’ve tested the player in Visual Composer version 5.0.1 (also a dated version) and it worked. If your VC version is even older, it’s just possible that it’s a compatibility issue. Have you tried switching to the Classic Mode? Does it also wipe the shortcodes?

I’ve got 4.92…and I think it was modified by Artbees (they bundle VC with their theme).

The problem with classic mode is that, if you add short codes and then use the VC editor, it wipes out anything that’s not VC related!

But I’ll give it a shot…
