Trying to use the custom skin setting. When I do, it makes the playlist overlays (transparent blackish color with name of each playlist video on it) all different sized, so the playlist looks wonky.
Also, the NOW Playing Pulses while the video is playing. It is, at least I find it to be, distracting and my eyes is continually wondering what is flashing. How do I stop that flashing pulsating.

thank you for your feedback, you can switch to 2014 playlist design Settings -> FV Player -> Skin -> Playlist -> Playlist Design, perhaps it will suit you better.

The 2014 really isn’t hat I’m looking for.
Regarding one issue, I did change the size Oh the h4tag with css and it fixed that.
I prefer the “ custom” layout with 2017 design. I like the NowPlaying overlay, I just want it to stop pulsing. Can you tell me how to change the pulsing please?

I wasn’t able to reproduce this problem. Does this “pulsing” occur while using a default theme? Please test this. What version of the player are you using? Can you test this with our demo videos at https://foliovision.com/player/demos/playlist-styles?

On that link, the Now Playing overlay on the playlist video that is playing cycles on and off about every 2 seconds.

The “pulsing” effect you’re seeing is normal. If you don’t like it, you can disable it using the code, below.
.fp-playlist-external a .now-playing { display: none; } .fp-playlist-external.fv-playlist-design-2017 a.is-active h4 { display: block; } .fp-playlist-external.fv-playlist-design-2017 a.is-active h4 span { background-color: rgba(128, 0, 0, 0.5); }This will also highlight the current item with a red color.

For those of you using this in the future… the above is css, so it goes in whatever css file your theme uses (whatever file is not overwritten when the theme is updated).
I added the “stop the pulse” css to the theme child css code, and it still pulses. Any suggestions?

Are you sure that your new CSS rules have higher priority than the FV Player’s rules?
You can easily do that by adding #content in front of selectors.
