Hello,
i created a playlist of streams, every stream goes for 1 minute and at the end of the playlist there is a loop so the playlist starts again.
My problem is that if a stream doesn’t works, it should go on with the next one… but it stops there… How can i solve that?
Can you please help me?
Thank you very much in advance
Best regardsFederico

Hi Federico,
I’ve reposted your question to Forums so more users can benefit from it. Thanks for understanding!
I’ve forwarded your issue to our senior programmer Martin. We’ll discuss this topic later today and I’ll keep you posted via this forum thread.
Thanks for being part of the Foliovision,
JurajHello Federico,
I did an improvement, so that if there is an error you can manually click one of the playlist thumbs and it will play that video fine. So no need to reload the page.
The improved code will be part of the next release. To get it right not you can reinstall FV Player from this link: https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/master.zip To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player plugin you are using. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with our plugin, no settings now videos will be lost. Or you can just replace the plugin files via FTP.
I see that what you would like would be to play the next video automatically. That would be harder as Flowplayer doesn’t keep the video index in playlist when there is a load error.
Thanks,
MartinHello Martin,
but would that be possible? Because im displaying my live streams also on tv’s for long time and it would be a problem if you have to do that manually every time
you can watch what i have set up here for better understanding : https://www.dolomitilivecam.it/allwebcam/
Thanks

Hello Federico,
we are working on a fix for this issue. If you could give it a try, that would be helpful.
You can reinstall FV Player from this link: https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/10870407-playlist-fix.zip To do that you will have to first deactivate and delete the current FV Player plugin you are using. WordPress will warn you that you might loose settings and data, but it’s not the case with our plugin, no settings now videos will be lost. Or you can just replace the plugin files via FTP.
Thanks,
MartinHello Martin,

Hello Federico,
it was failing if there were 2 failing videos in a row.
Please reinstall from https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/10870407-playlist-fix.zip again.
Thanks,
MartinHello Martin,
i noticed that it doesn’t work also if there is only 1 failing video in a row.

Hello Federico,
it works for us, are you able to reinstall from https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/10870407-playlist-fix.zip and make sure you disable the Autoptimize plugin? I think it doesn’t work for you because your website is hanging on to the old script and because of Autoptimize it’s not easy to debug the issue.
Thanks,
MartinHello Federico,
one more reinstall from https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/archive/10870407-playlist-fix.zip please. I figured out than in some cases the load fails to early that we have to not only reset the player error state, but also the loading state.
Thanks,
Martin
