opera issue with some cloudfront videos

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Troubleshooting › opera issue with some cloudfront videos

  • Bruno 9 years, 11 months ago

    Hey there, hope you’re well..

We have some issues with cloudfront served videos on Opera. The Videos are setup with expired links. But it’s very curious..

We will sell online-courses with video content (this time we’re in the final step on a testarea). All videos are setup with exactly the same settings in Amazons S3 Console (video/mp4 & video/webm) and we use everywhere the same shortcodes to include them. Example:

    [fvplayer src="http://video-safe-cdn.our-domain.de/path-to/video-mobile.mp4" src1="http://video-safe-cdn.our-domain.de/path-to/video-mobile.webm" qsel="true" width="800" height="450" controlbar="no" embed="false" splashend="show" splash="http://our-domain.de/path-to/video-SplashScreen.jpg" lightbox="true;"]

Some videos working well, but some videos just shown a white screen and they gives us the following message: html5: video-file not found.

Here is the curiosity: The Video-Checker tells us that everything is fine. And all of this videos are playing very well on Safari, Chrome, Firefox (Mac) and iOS.

Why can this happen? Any idea to fix this?

There is no caching active this moment..

    Thank you and best regards
    Bruno

Here is your plugin-own report for the non-working videos:

    Admin: Video OK
    Analysis of [Link]

    Mime Type: video/mp4
    Format: mp4
    Moov position: 24
    Audio: 1 stream, mp4 (ISO/IEC 14496-3 AAC) 48000Hz, 2 channels, 16bit, stereo
    Video: avc1 (H.264 Encoder) codec, mp42 (MS-MPEG4 v2 Decoder) file type (ftyp), 640 x 360 resolution
    Bitrate: 409 kbps
Hint (beta): We recommend that you encode your video at a higher bitrate for better quality!
