Hello.
Im running the latest version of FV player 0.7.12 (wordpress 4.5.2) … and I notice 2 previously working functionalities no longer valid.
1. Playback on mobile devices (my phone: iPhone 6). The loading screen keeps showing up…no playback.
2. When video autoplays, the audio works, but the video does not show. You have to click in the player window (which stops the video), the click the video window again…then the video shows.Thank you.

Thanks for the bug report. Martin will check out your issues on Monday morning. In the meantime, until then could you please use the previous version of the plugin.

1) I can see the issue on a YouTube video here: http://firstclasstracks.com/video/keke-palmer-enemiez-ft-jeremih But not on our website https://foliovision.com/player/demos/youtube-embedding
So it might be related to some JS issue/confict on your website. However we are working on improving the YouTube loading for mobile devices so this should be fixed. I can give you a test version as soon as it’s ready, we are just solving some playlist issue in it.

we are working on allowing our users to use FV Player Pro beta version more easily. As soon as that is released, you will be able to switch to the new beta version and make sure the YouTube videos play well for you.

Hello Victor,
FV Player Pro 0.7.17 which we released yesterday has a drop down menu next to the “FV Player Pro” title of its settings screen. You are able to use that drop down menu to switch to “Beta” version which includes the improved YouTube loading for mobile.

I did everything you mentioned, including switching it to the BETA version. However, the video still doesn’t play on mobile devices (I have the iPhone 6).

I’m noticing some display issues on desktop as well. I have to pause the video and then resume it to see the picture – which is the second issue you have been mentioning.
It appears you are using some plugin which hooks into YouTube API events – Fullwidth Audio Player. Could you please try to disable that plugin and see if you are still having these issues with FV Player?

That didn’t work.
I had to revert to an older version (Flowplayer 6.0.5.1) with FV Pro (0.7.17).
Also, the mobile playback doesn’t work on mobile phone.

I’m still seeing the same malfunction.
If it’s not the Fullwidth Audio Player, then it must be this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/youtube-embed-plus/
Make sure you clear your minify cache between the tests.

That did the trick!
It was the “Youtube” plugin. And mobile playback also works!
So pretty much I can’t use that plugin in conjunction with the FV Player, correct?

I’m not sure what that plugin is goind with the YouTube events. You would have to ask the plugin author about it. It should not interact with YouTube videos placed in div.flowplayer elements or we need an explanation of what it’s trying to do with them.
I put https://wordpress.org/plugins/youtube-embed-plus/ on our list of incompatible plugins for now:
