On my android phone using CM Browser I’m given an expired link from FV player for CloudFront http. Straight S3 plays just fine. Default expire time is 5 minutes. Default distribution TTL is 86400.
Here is the cloudfront shortcode:

https://th…n.org/video-test/On my desktop with opera or internet explorer the video plays fine. The straight s3 link plays fine on my phone. Only the cloudfront video on my phone says:
fv-html5: Video file not found
Video file expired. Please reload the page and play it again.I followed your cloudfront and s3 setup directions. The cloudfront videos on your demo page (first and last) play fine on my phone. What could be causing this?

I selected FV Player / Troubleshooting from the dropdown and watched the forum save it in the wrong folder. Mod, can you move it please?

I checked this and I’m not sure why it’s happening. I’m able to reproduce it on an Android phone as well, while I have other MP4 video playing from CloudFront with signed URLs on our website perfectly fine.
The video doesn’t play on Android even if I put the video URL with signature on it directly into FV Player – it keeps loading it using https:// rather than http:// and that makes the signature invalid for it.
I’ll have to check this in depth.

we released FV Player 6.0.4.18 which fixes the CloudFront https:// issue on mobile.
