I’m using the beta version, to check if Vimeo in combination with subtitles work well.
It seems to work fine, but not when I go on the IPad 2 to fullscreen. Then the language is not present in the menu – instead it shows ‘unknown’ there.
I lik FlowPlayer, because in the stable version displaying subtitles on the IPad fullscreen works well, where the Vimeo player fails. Unfortunately, that version lacks the subtitles menu for Vimeo videos.
I hope you are able to fix this fast! I can get you quick feedback if it works. A lot of people experience problems with subtitles in the standard Vimeo player (also that you cannot enable them by default), so it’s a good selling point for your app.

I see the issue, it’s like that because we set touch devices to use native fullscreen. Do you have experience with editing JS files? If so, then please comment out line 22 in wp-content/plugins/flowplayer/fv-flowplayer.min.js and let us know how it works for you. You can see the exact line to comment out or remove here: https://github.com/foliovision/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/blob/master/flowplayer/fv-flowplayer.min.js#L22
I think we could just not use native fullscreen if there are subtitles. We could get rid of it completely as well, but it tends to work better on small screens.
