Hi everyone,
I make videos for a local business and recently switched to the FV Player plugin for uploading them onto the website. Until about a week or so ago, the plugin and videos worked great. Recently though, all the video content on the website no longer loads. The thumbnail is visible and seems clickable but nothing happens.

I’ve reinstalled the plugin but to no effect. I’m pretty confident the problem is with the FV player plugin as the files work elsewhere and with other plugins (JWplayer, for instance).
If anyone has any ideas as to what the problem could be, I’d but extremely grateful for the help. I’ll pay the $70 for Pro Support if I have to but thought I’d ask here first.

please clear your browser and CDN cache and the issue should go away.
The problem is that our scripts have changed, but your CDN is not aware of it. To make sure browsers and CDNs know about it we put the plugin version number into the URL of the script. So when there is a new version of the code in our plugin, everybody knows to get it from your server.
However it’s getting quite popular to remove these query strings so then instead of http://cdn2.mastermylist.com/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/flowplayer/fv-flowplayer.min.js?ver=6.0.5.27 you only have http://cdn2.mastermylist.com/wp-content/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/flowplayer/fv-flowplayer.min.js and your CDN hands on to the old file.
We will think about this issue. If we would change the actual file name, that would prevent this issue, however people might be excluding our script from some JS minify using the script name.

It’s a pity there’s no way to flush CDN cache. Is there? Why shouldn’t we come up with a best practices and publish it. We know as much about the issue as anyone else.
We could trick the CDN’s by making optimized bundles of js include a version number (each time it’s rebuilt the version number goes up).

I cleared my browser cache, used the “Purge All Caches” option on WP, and waited about 20-30 mins. No change, unfortunately.
Since my experience with CDNs and HTML scripts is limited, I assume I’m doing something wrong. Is there another method to go about clearing the cache more effectively?

just like there is a login for your server web hosting control panel there is one for your CDN. You need to go there (it’s AWS = Amazon Web Services) and clear the cache in it.
It appears you are using CloudFront. Clearing that one is not the easiest, but I found this video which shows you how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3bg2gYsynA
