I have a WordPress install using the Enfold theme. I have FV player installed and I see the icon next to the “Add Media” button in the default editor, but if I use the Advanced Layout Builder and use the “text” block, the FV player icon is now gone and only the “add media” button shows.
This is probably because the reference to the FV player is not coded into the advanced layout editor. If I copy/paste the shortcode into a text block, the videos work on the live site, so it looks like i just need a way to launch the FV player screen so it inserts the shortcode into the editor.
Any suggestions?

sorry about the delay. Our plugin should work with any editor that uses the media_buttons WordPress action hook. Since Enfold is a paid theme it’s not easy for us to check, could you please submit a support ticket for that theme?

I checked that thread, you actually said that the [fvplayer] shortcode doesn’t work for you.
But for Todayweb the shortcode works, see the first reply in this thread.
Are you sure the shortcode doesn’t work at all and that you put in some video src=”…” in it? You can try to use a shortcode like this:
[fvplayer src="http://video-cdn-public.foliovision.com/Swan+Lake+Reloaded-sd.mp4"]
