can you fire a script at the beginning of a preroll ad? I have a client who is custom tracking impressions and they sent me a piece of code that needs to run each time an ad is served. Thanks!

Hi Peter,
FV Player currently supports Google Analytics, which is an out-of-the-box solution with lots of features. More details are in this guide Using Google Analytics with FV Player.
As for a custom tracking script – we’ll discuss this suggestion, but we are currently overwhelmed with other features, so it will have to wait. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

We discussed a bit and we might add this to our future improvements. Could you please be more specific about what kind of script you would like to use (an example would be perfect) and how is should be triggered? That would be most helpful.

here is an example: we just received a request from a big media agency to run a pre-roll video ad from YouTube, and they sent us a tracking script that needs to load with the page each time the preroll is included in the video. They use that script to track the impressions on their end.
Below is the script sample:

It is also possible I’m not getting this right – we use DFP, so perhaps I can create an ad unit for the video there and use the script inside your player instead of AdSense?
I just purchased your player and it seems there is no way to use the code for the pre-roll add, I can only add a video URL.
So yes, the requirement would be to be able to specify a script to be loaded with each pre-roll video.

could you please double-check that what they are giving you is not a VAST compliant video ad? Then FV Player VAST would be what you need: https://foliovision.com/player/vast
If that’s not the case, then I see how we could allow you to paste your script in for each video. I guess they are also interested in tracking the video clicks, is that right? So it would be fair amount of scripts for each video and I’m not sure how we can include such interface for each video ad.
Can it work so that you only include
