I am interested in buying an FV Flowplayer license.
I would like you to inform me if you can provide me, with this license, a compiled SWF file with a secureToken generated password from my Wowza server to include it in the Flash Flowplayer player.
As i know, a new compiled SWF version have to create through Apache + Ant + Java (as described in flowplayer web page) with the included secureToken password to prevent the hotlinking from server.

Do you offer this compiled swf with your normal license ?
or
Do you charge an extra cost (as a service) the creation of a new compiled secureToken swf ?The generated password will be sent by me.

Hi Paul,
your link refers to Flowplayer 3 which uses Flash technology. We work with Flowplayer 5 which is a more forward looking solution (HTML5, not Flash dependent).
The idea of putting the token into SWF is interesting as it can’t be easily obtained that way. But if somebody would like to steal your video and put it on his own website, he could just copy your SWF.
We are working on adding Amazon Cloud protected links support which will allow you to use their RTMP streams with linking protection – the link will only last for a limited amount of time and it will be possible to only get it on your site.

I am looking for a solution that will prevent the hotlinking on live streaming and not on vod streaming. The amazon s3 is only limiting a vod streaming hotlinking.
I will use for my rtmp / hsl live streaming a wowza media server and the best solution,but vulnerable, to limit – prevent phishing and hotlinking is Tokens. (I know that HSL is not working with tokens but this is only a minor for me.)
I need to purchase a license for a flash – html5 player till Monday 5/5/2014 and i would like you to inform me if there is an extra charge for a creation of a compiled swf with token authentication code for my server.

I see your point now. We are checking this out, but I don’t think we will have a solution ready by Monday and I’m leaving for a short holiday on Wednesday.
