Disable RTL on interface

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › How to … › Disable RTL on interface

  • Amir Emami 9 years, 3 months ago

    I attached this image comparison between the interface the foliovision original player and the interface in my RTL site.
    http://i.imgur.com/wvLPrph.png

    1- The play icon is directed to left in RTL.
    2- In the video controllers, the same issue. and the font of numbers is in Persian.
    3- progressing bar in moving from right to left.
    4- Same issue with the icon of the sound and the bar.

    You see? Everything is mirrored on the surface, because my site is RTL. I want to change all of them to the original one. In another word I want an option which let me disable RTL in the player interface.

    Hello amiremami,

    if you want the player to appear withour RTL, you can add the following CSS to your theme style.css file or any custom styling box if it’s provided:

    .flowplayer {
    direction: ltr;
    }

    Thanks,
    Martin

    this correct CSS:
    .flowplayer {
    direction: ltr !important;
    }
    .flowplayer.is-rtl .fp-icon {
    transform: rotate(0);
    }

    Hello Amiad,

    Thank you for sharing this CSS code! I see now that the snippet we have in our guide no longer works correctly.

    We will update the guide right away.

    Thank You,
    Maria
