Performance Issues with Vimeo Videos

Hey. We have a user reporting super horrible video playing performance when
using FV Player Pro on our site. Switching to 1080p takes several minutes to
start playing. Jumping around in the video also takes a minutes to buffer and
sometimes the play is stopped altogether.

We’re embedding Vimeo videos and this is a rare report – majority of the users
seem to be doing fine.

User is reporting that other sites work fine (they always report that, I know),
and I also had him test playing video directly from Vimeo – everything worked well.

From the incident machine’s browser console, I saw IE Edge throws Websocket
12030 network errors, which means connections get aborted – could very well be
the underlying cause for the bad experience.

Wondering if you guys have seen such bad FV Player performance incidents
before and may have insights?
