Is it possible to play multiple preroll ads before the video starts using FV VAST and YouTube playlists?
What I want is:
preroll 1
perroll 2
video
midroll1
midroll2
rest of video
postroll 1
postroll2I’m using this shortcode on my site:
[fvplayer src="my-youtube-playlist-url" liststyle="vertical"]I have a VAST tag from Google Ad Manager.
I don’t want to waterfall ads, I want to play 2 or 3 consecutive ads before the video starts.

Yes, this is possible to do. There are two ways to do so.

VMAP (This is what VMAP is: https://www.iab.com/guidelines/vmap/) And Google supports it: https://developers.google.com/interactive-media-ads/docs/sdks/html5/client-side/tags

Via FV Player VAST. You can set the time triggers for ads via the shortcode parameters. For example: midroll=”0,30,60″. Which in your case you’d put them a second apart. In your case, you’d use the midroll parameter to all the ads. For example: midroll=”0,1,30,31,60,61″. It is less conventional, but it should work just fine.

Hi, I’m trying to implement this using VMAP. In the FV PLayer VAST settings I’m using this for the VAST tag:
When I test this tag using a VAST inspector I see the ads as expected, but on my site they do not play before the video.
I’m not asking you to troubleshoot this, I just wanted to know if there was any way to view any detailed VAST errors using the plugin?
