Global skip button configuration

Hi

After lengthy discussions with our advertising partners, we had to accept that they will never use the skipoffset attribute defined in the VAST 3 standard. The reason is that in a complex setup like ours with ad networks, real-time bidding, waterfalling etc., the party delivering the VAST document is not the party who has contractually defined if and when the ad can be skipped. So that party is unable to add he information to the VAST document.

We are therefore looking for a way to set the skipoffset configuration globally for all pre and post rolls played on our site. Do you have any plans of introducing such a global configuration? Haven’t any other clients voiced the same requirement?

I’m checking your request with our team. We had a request like this before, but we never heard the ad partners refuse to add a skip button.
