Quick Insert Image

Hello,

I’ve been using Foliopress WYSIWYG for years (currently running version 2.6.15), and only recently did I run into an issue. When I hit the Quick Insert Button the upload window pops up, but it doesn’t actually load the file directories. It just says “Please Wait – loading…”. Any idea what going on? Thanks

Hi Tyler,

You are probably experiencing compatibility issues with PHP 7 built in newer versions of WordPress. We had to remove the whole SEO Images feature in the latest release of FolioPress WYSIWYG (2.6.16) because of it. This is a message you would get after update:

SEO Images removed! Due to PHP 7 compatibility issues and WordPress upgrades we are forced to remove our image management tool built on KFM. Please use Foliopress WYSIWYG 2.6.15 if you really need it.

Hi Eduard – I’m using 2.6.15 and WordPress 4.7.6. This combination was working fine until recently. I intentionally didn’t update to 2.6.16 or 4.8.2 to avoid issues with the SEO images feature. Could there be another reason why it stopped working? Thank you.

here’s how you can check your browser error console: https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis

You might see some error there which will explain what is going on.

There is chance the old SEO Images will still work in Firefox.
