Foliovision Forums Foliopress WYSIWYG Requests and Feedback Is there a way to display the image in a image.php file?

  • I have used your plugin for a few years and really love the SEO benefits.

One drawback is that when you click on the image it goes to the url for the image and does not call the attachment.php or image.php files since the image is not “attached” to the page or post. I don’t want to use the lightbox feature as I need to allow printing. Any thoughts on a solution?

  • Hello Louise,

I see your point. However we don’t like these attachment pages, so we never aimed to have similar functionality.

Could you just simply remove the Lightbox effect form the image link? Or is that not good enough as just opening the image won’t show your site header and sidebar?

    Thanks,
    Martin

Yes, the issue is that it won’t show anything but the picture. My site is all images so it’s a lost opportunity for brandings or ads when it goes to just the picture.
