Save yourself the trouble of renewing FV Player for every year for five years and never miss out on continuous support and updates reduced pricing (if someone misses an update notice, updates are $60 and not $30 annually). We offer lower prices on renewal as we don’t feel what big WordPress houses like Automatic/WooCommerce/Yoast/GravityForms (and until recently EDD) with full price for renewals on open source software is at all fair. Free updates for life is not viable either. We try to walk in-between.
Partly due to philosophy and partly due to Paypal’s limitations, we’ve avoided auto-renewal (not every purchase is identical, a customer might change their packet during the course of a year).
What we’ve decided to do on customer request is offer a five year one time renewal to reduce accounting paperwork for both our customers and ourselves and to allow you to lock in great long term pricing.
