Should have added, if the issue is with a video that is not being recognized properly, how does reinstalling a plugin help change that video?

This is the same version we are already running: 7.5.37.7212

Sorry, can’t edit that (from what I can see), here is the code formatted error:

Now that is strange…. The key did not have video_files capability. Is that a new requirement? It had been working just fine, and I don’t even see how you can edit permissions on a key, so it must have never had them. I made a new key with that permission included and am awaiting feedback from our customer service team.

These are all existing videos we have had up for quite a while, nothing in our configuration has changed except normal wordpress/plugin/security updates. The exact same videos and API key/configuration had been working without problems for a very long time now.

I noticed that when I installed Log HTTP Requests, it only logs a post to https://api-us.foliovision.com/ when a video actually plays. When it is instead displaying the error message nothing is logged in the Log HTTP Requests log. The videos appear to work only sporadically, more often not working than working.

I have done it anyway (with a backup) and it seems it did not remove any settings. I asked because I know some plugins do remove their configuration when deleted.

Going through the posts now, it does seem they are coming back to life.

    Thank You!

Deleting the plugin will not delete our settings, will it?

I simplified the playlist to just one item…

    [fvplayer src="https://vimeo.com/xxxxxxxxx" playlist="https://vimeo.com/xxxxxxxxx,https://i.vimeocdn.com/video/xxxxxxxxx_1280x720.jpg?r=pad;" caption="Testing;testing2"]

I hadn’t noticed before (I did not set these up) that the playlist entries do have the video link, a comma, and a splashscreen. So if that is the cause of the problem, how are those fixed?

The above still shows the splash screen for the main video (maybe because I “created” it when I used it in a solo video tag) but the second one does not.

I did post a new one with the shortcode copied from an existing post (with playlist and captions) and it doesn’t work. I removed the playlist and caption portions and it does work.

It seems you have a problem when playlist and caption is being used.

    RE: the token:

Your Vimeo access token has been successfully verified (last check: Fri, 24 Sep 2021 12:59:09 +0000)

And how do we “have a bad shortcocde” when it has been working fine, and the video plays, just no splash screen? That makes no sense.

It is just as you outlined, [fvplayer src="{vimeo video page link}"] (which is what we posted above) except we also have the playlist and caption parameters to the shortcode. And magically ALL of them went bad? Doesn’t seem possible.

I am working on the site for Douglas. We are using the URL as mentioned above, but no splash is being specified, we have never specified it and it has worked until now.

I will be continuing this discussion where Doug left off, anxious to find an answer to fix the splash screen/thumbnails. What has been posted so far doesn’t seem to be working for our use case.

I am also interested in this, wondering if there was an update?
