Portrait View

Is it possible to get a true portrait view from the player?

The video I want to display has a longer height than width, 360 x 640, but the player forces the video into landscape mode. Is there a way to fix this?

Here is a link if that helps, it shows the unnecessary black trim on left and right. Also, it is not displaying at 640 pixels tall, which does not make sense to me:
