Play Private MP3 Audio files from Amazon S3

I have configured the s3 access credentials in the WordPress settings. I have added video files and they play, but I am not able to get the .mp3 files to play. The URL is not transformed into the signed URL, so the actual URL on the post page is “https://s3.amazonaws.com/bucket/filename.mp3”

As they are set to private, they are not playing when you access them directly.

As only the button bar is displayed with mp3 files, there is also no admin information available, so I am having some problems to troubleshoot.

I am using FlowPlayer v 2.1.52 for WordPress.

Do you think I am doing something wrong?

Hello yohi,

thank you for reporting this, we will need to add a bit of code next week to make sure audio files are supported as well.

For now you will have to allow public to access your audio files on your Amazon S3 account.

I have not launched the site yet, so hopefully I will be able to just wait for the update. If you do manage to add the code next week, when would that show up in a live WordPress version that I could upgrade to?

If you could install it and let us know if it works with your audio files, that would be great.

that worked perfectly! Now the files load and it works perfectly. I had no problems installing and it works like a charm!
