Moving the fullscreen button onto the control bar

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Troubleshooting › Moving the fullscreen button onto the control bar

  • spanj 10 years, 9 months ago

    Hi there,

This issue is a little bit frustrating and only seems to occur in Internet Explorer – when I go fullscreen on a video, the video doesn’t go truly fullscreen, instead filling the confines of the browser. This, I do not have too much of an issue with (though, if possible, would like it to function as intended with true fullscreen).

The issue arises in that, with the fullscreen button in the top right hand corner, it becomes hidden behind the WordPress overlay so, once fullscreen, one cannot exit fullscreen without refreshing the page. Ideally, this would be solved by having the video go truly fullscreen rather than filling the browser window but, assuming this is a constraint of the browser, how possible would it be to move the fullscreen button onto the control bar to the right of the volume controls?

    Cheers in advance!
    Alex Macpherson.

    Hello Alex,

could you please delete and reinstall the plugin? I included a fix for this in the existing version and if it works for you, we can release it as a new version.

It hides the WP admin bar when entering fullscreen and then shows it again upon exit. It works perfectly in my IE11.

Currently the native fullscreen in IE11 is not supported, but it should be fixed in next version of core Flowplayer.

    Thanks
    Martin
