Mobile Device Display Problem-too wide

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Troubleshooting › Mobile Device Display Problem-too wide

  • mikek 7 years, 3 months ago

I’m inserting some videos to our website from Youtube. Everything works great from a PC browser or Android tablet but from my Android phone, LG G6 running 7.0, the videos don’t adjust to the mobile size and about half of it falls off the screen. Turning the phone horizontally shows about 2/3 of the video. It plays fine on the phone but just doesn’t show the entire video.
Some of the videos are 1280×720 and others are 224×400.

    website is http://www.thenightshiftdfw.com/videos

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi mikek,

The videos on your website are embedded via YouTube’s default iframe (not FV Player). You should be able to resolve the responsivity issue with CSS. Info on that can be found for instance here – https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15844500/shrink-a-youtube-video-to-responsive-width.

    Thanks,
    Eduard

    Eduard,
Somehow I have the same problem described above. The attached image shows what I am a talking about. This happens when my desktop browser is reduced in size or when I click the fullscreen.

    Hi Delroy!

Can you send us also a link to the video?

    Thanks,

    Lucia
