Is it possible to launch fv player lightbox from a WordPress menu link?
Here is what I did when trying to make it work:
From the WP Menus page, I chose “Screen Options”, “Show Advanced Menu Properties”, and checked “Link Relationship (XFN).”
I created new menu item that was a link to an external video, and in the Link Relationship (XFN) field, I typed “colorbox”
When you click the menu item, however, it just nothing instead of opening the video in a lightbox.

FV Player lets you use plain HTML to create video lightbox: https://foliovision.com/player/basic-setup/using-lightbox#lightbox-without-fvplayer-shortcodes
However for that to work you would have to run the same filter on your navigation menus. You can try this in your theme functions.php file:

I have tried to put your script on function.php of three themes : generatepress, twenty nineteen, twenty seventeen.
It doesn’t word. Even I set my page with only one ma in menu
By the way, my plan is using two menus on every pages:
Main menu for changing pages
Side menu for lightbox playlist menu.
Does your script also work for costum menus?

Hello Ran,
please check how exactly does your menu HTML look like. The function which I posted above is looking for:
<a...class="colorbox"....></a>
And that matching anchor then has to contain a href attribute pointing to a one of the known video extensions, YouTube or a Vimeo video.
You might need to also add:
add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu', 'do_shortcode' );

the colorbox class has to be on the anchor, not on the li element.
