I’ve tried everything to disable the autoplay feature on my videos, but to no avail. I’m playing multiple videos on one site and don’t need them all playing simultaneously.
I also have the default set to false in the FV WordPress Flowplayer Settings area of WordPress.
Here is the code as it appears on my page:
[flowplayer src='http://www.secretsoftexasbluesguitar.com/video location.mp4' width=580 height=320 splashend=show splash='http://www.secretsoftexasbluesguitar.com/splash screen image.jpg' autoplay=false]
Notice that autoplay is set to false. But this doesn’t seem to matter. It keeps playing regardless every time the page is refreshed.
I’ve tried everything I know and don’t want to have to switch to another video plug-in so I need help, please.

this might be tricky, as there is quite a bit of settings.
To figure this out, you should make the shortcodes more simple. Try to remove everything but src, width and height and see what happens. Then you can add autoplay=false to videos which should not start playing automatically. These can also have splash images.

Thanks, Martin. Did what you suggested without the splash image and it doesn’t auto play any more. But when I add the splash image back in it auto plays even with the auto play set to false. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
I’m just glad I have the player customized via the FV Flowplayer plugin so I don’t have to use another plugin that doesn’t enable interface customization.
Will keep trying with the splash screen and see if it works eventually. Thanks for your help.
