I’d like to sort by name on the FV Player page in WordPress. I can sort by player ID, and also date. But it will not sort based on player name. In the attached screenshot, notice that the names are not in alphanumeric order, despite clicking on the column title “Player Name” to attempt an ascending or descending order.

Thank you for letting us know about your issue.
The reason why it won’t sort is that that field is derived from the titles of the videos in each player. Then it gets tricky if the player has a playlist of videos.
But I will check if we could let it sort properly by the name of the first video in the playlist.
