Clone DigitalOcean Spaces to use HLS stream with Coconut.

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › How to … › Clone DigitalOcean Spaces to use HLS stream with Coconut.

  • Richard B. 4 years, 4 months ago

    Hello,

I’ve used FV Coconut to encode my video and hosted it in DigitalOcean Spaces, then played it through BunnyCDN (which was the original mechanism of FV Coconut wizard).
I want to store encoded videos in another DigitalOcean Spaces (even Linode, Backblaze). So I used rclone to sync the content from source Spaces to dest Spaces. I then configured both the dest Spaces and BunnyCDN the same parameters that were originally available for the source Spaces and the BunnyCDN PullZone was configured by the Coconut wizard.
However, when I import the m3u8 HLS video from the dest Spaces and press the Play button, the video just always shows the loading icon but cannot load the video content (although the Admin Video Check function is working and I get the Video Ok message )
So what is the problem that I am having here, is it with the decryption key?. Because even though I tried to import the initial decryption key from Coconut level for source Spaces but Video in target Spaces still can’t play.
Please help me solve this problem.

    Thanks,

    Hello Richard,

it’s not easy to tell what’s going on after these modification Please submit the video checker for both the old video location and the new video location.

A test page would help as well.

    Thanks,
    Martin
