FV Player Coconut License Key Not Working

[Solved]

Foliovision › Forums › FV Player › Bug Reports › FV Player Coconut License Key Not Working

  • Ryan 3 years, 5 months ago

I’m a FV Pro customer and I’m trying to use FV Player Coconut on 2 wordpress installs
    passionately.com
    courses.passionately.com

I first set it up for courses.passionately.com and it worked fine however when I try to activate it for passionately.com it says “Invalid license key, plese check your license and re-save the options!”

I’ve got a 5-Domain version but if I try to create a new license key for Passionately.com it just gives me the same license key again which doesn’t work. Please help. Thank you

(Spelling error in the error message btw for future bug fixes…should be “please”)

    Hello Ryan,

since the Flowplayer license covers all the sub-domains, we use the same principle for FV Player and FV Player Coconut. It’s fair use however, so we cannot provide support for infinite number of subdomains.

But you shouldn’t be running into any issue here. It seems that when you were setting up FV Player Coconut on passionately.com you entered the license key without the “fv” part. Please try again and let us know.

    Thanks,
    Martin

I definitely tried using the fv in the code, then attempted it without the fv then added it back to no avail.
But it seems fixed today. When I logged into my wordpress website the fv coconut license was just activated. It’s working fine now thanks.
