I was very happy to find Foliopress. It’s just so important to be able to import the site’s stylesheet into the editor. It keeps contributors from adding all kinds of unnecessary formatting. The FCK Editor for WordPress used to do this, then it lost that ability with some upgrades.
I found what seems to be a problem in switching from Dean’s FCK Editor to Foliopress. If you don’t first delete Dean’s before you install and activate Foliopress, there will be confusion back there with two CK editors in the wp-options table, and you’ll get a blank editor, or other malfunctions. I got things working again by deleting all editors, then downloading the wp-options table, sifting through it for any mention of either editors and deleting them.
I was then able to re-install Foliopress and get it working. A Mac OS seems particularly sensitive to this problem. In doing all this deleting and reinstalling there was some question in my mind that info was being left in wp-options, even though I’d clicked for the plugin to uninstall and delete all files.
If so, maybe this is a bug that could be corrected.
