Alternative Sources allows you to you serve the same video from multiple CDN and video hosts to make sure your video hosting never goes down. There is also the opportunity to use different video hosts for different platforms. Most publishers don’t need this level of uptime or complexity hence it’s a separate module for publishers who do need their videos available at all times, even if it means maintaining two video hosting platforms.
This plugin does not support live streams.
