How to use built-in S3 browser

While FV Player Shortcode Editor dialog includes a button to pick video from your S3 buckets, just like you would from WordPress Media Library, most people are just copy-pasting the video links from AWS.

With FV Player you don't need to copy-paste links to every single video by hand. You can use our built-in S3 browser. Just follow this guide:

    How to set-up S3 browser

Note: Before you proceed to use S3 browser please make sure that you have:

    1. Working S3 set-up.
    2. Working CloudFront) set-up it you are using CloudFront as well.

    After that please go to:

Settings -> FV Player Pro -> Hosting -> Amazon S3 protected content

and enable Amazon S3 Browser (beta) option.

    How to use S3 browser

Using S3 browser is really simple.

    1. Open the FV Player Shortcode editor.

    FV Player editor button

    2. Click on "Add Video" button.

    S3 browser add video

    3. Select Amazon 3 category and you'll see your files.

    S3 files

You can also swap between your buckets in the context menu above your S3 items.

Also, if you have implemented CloudFront distribution into your FV Player settings, the source URLs will automatically update to your connected CloudFront domain.
