When editing a Category what I enter in the SEO Header Title field isn't appearing. It is still showing the category name. Shouldn't the SEO Header Title be overriding this? This is what should appear in the TITLE element of that category page right?

Hello Rob,
what plugin are you using? This support forum is for FV Simpler SEO which has no field for custom SEO title for categories.
Thanks,

Ok, sorry about that. I just deactivated the FV Simpler SEO plugin and those fields are still there in the category edit page. SEO Header Title and SEO Keywords. I don't have any other SEO plugin installed. They must have been left over from something else maybe. Very strange. Thanks for replying. Shame I can't have a different category title as the browser title nonetheless.

Hello Rob,
it might be added by your template. We prefer to use our plugin for any SEO functionality and don't like when templates add any new functionality.
Read our article about SEO plugins if you want this feature: http://foliovision.com/2011/10/24/wordpress-seo-plugins-review
