I have the Simpler SEO plugin installed on 3 sites, 2 are fine, but one doesn't allow users with Editor status to edit pages. If I change their permission level to Admin, they can see and edit pages fine. If I disable your plugin, they can see and edit fine. Posts and other features are not affected. Just being able to see and edit pages. I really want to use your plugin on this site, but I don't want to make everyone an Admin. Thoughts?

Can't Edit Pages

Hello Randy,
we haven't noticed such issue yet. By not being able to edit the pages you mean:
a) the pages are not in the menu in wp-admin?
b) the pages can't be saved?1. Can you please try to turn off other plugins which might be affecting the permission levels first? (if you use any)
2. Is it just the "Pages" menu that is hidden for your editors or are they not allowed to edit pages at all? You can try to open page editing URL as editor and see what happens. Thanks,

I don't use anything for permissions other than the standard WP user settings. The following behavior only happens when a user is set as Editor: The dashboard loads fine. Posts can be viewed and edited fine. But when you try to look at a list of Pages or Add a Page, the content area just hangs and is blank. You cannot see a list of pages, you cannot edit a page. Everything else functions fine. One solution is to change the permission to Admin and then it works fine. Or disable the SEO plugin, neither of which I would rather do.

So in the meantime I happen to update the WP Security Scan Plugin and tested a user as Editor and the issue seems different. I can now get a list of all Pages to Edit, but when I go directly to edit a page (whether from the dashboard or directly from the page), it still hangs. If I disable the WP Security Scan Plugin, everything seems fine, which is what I will do for now. So perhaps it is just a plugin conflict. I will yell if I notice anything else related. Thanks for your quick response, BTW. And the great plugin!

Hello Randy,
I did a quick test with WP Security Scan, but I haven't noticed any issues.
However, I cleared up the warnings which show up when WP debug is ON, so maybe that will help you.
The new version was released just now.
Thanks,
