Copy Editor

We are seeking a crack Copy Editor to keep our clients' websites compelling. You have strong proofreading skills and are a native speaker of English. As our clients are principally in the insurance and real estate industry, familiarity with business and business writing is essential.

• Excellent written communication skills
• Professional
• Cheerful
• Attentive to detail
• Available for occasional IM or telephone meetings (Skype)
• Some familiarity with business writing/world preferred
• Native English speaker

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Checking spelling (Canadian English)
• Checking grammar
• Rewriting when necessary
• Ensuring a consistent writing style
• Improving copy voice where possible

There is also an opportunity to contribute to the copy on our sales pages.
