Foliopress WYSIWYG is Wordpress and PHP5 based, but both of the core components (FCK and KFM) are heavily javascript based, so if I were working on Rails I would think seriously about using these better tested frameworks. I do understand that foliopress is highly integrated with wordpress/php5 etc, but I was wondering whether you see a chance that it might work with a rails backend properly, too.
